Confirm the order before preparation. Pick and pack the correct products, keep them protected and clearly identified, and agree the handover time and place before the food leaves the farm.
Packaging and temperature control
Use food-suitable packaging that protects the order throughout its journey. Chilled and frozen food must remain within safe temperature controls during preparation, waiting, transport and handover.
Farm collection and shared collection
Collection from the supplying farm may be the simplest choice. An order may also move to another agreed farm or collection point, but custody, timing, storage and responsibility must be clear at every handover.
Courier choices are being developed
FreshFarm is developing courier choices with delivery partners. Not every courier or local delivery option is currently live or bookable, and FreshFarm will not present an unapproved service as available.
